1) CITIZEN’S THEATER

Citizen’s Theater in Glasgow is a very famous theater and is regarded as very influential. The theater has a modern look even though it has been around since 1878.

It is in fact, the second oldest theater in the entire United Kingdom. It was where Alan Cumming, Everett Rupert and a lot of other stars started their acting careers.


The theater has a 500-capacity auditorium and houses two other compact theaters upstairs. It comes equipped with modern facilities that make for a satisfactory viewing.

2) FESTIVAL THEATER

The theater was originally modeled after the American Roxy Cinema but quickly found its own path.

More exciting are the rumors of Albert, the Ghost who has been said to haunt the theater now and then. It has a whooping over three thousand capacity!

4) THE KING’S THEATER

This royal theatre is at Bath Street in Glasgow. It’s a large 2 000 capacity venue, dating back to 1904.

It is unique for its standard production of pantomimes and is in fact, considered the capital of pantomime in Glasgow.

Pantomime stars like Kelly Gerard and Baxter have performed in the great theater. It comes with great facilities and is elegantly structured.

5) THE THEATER ROYAL GLASGOW

This theater is of course, in Glasgow. It is one of the leading center for Scottish opera as well as ballet.

It was first opened in 1867 but has had a full modern make-over. It is the longest running theater in Scotland. The theater was also once regarded as the home of STV.

It is owned by Scottish Opera but also takes comedy shows as well as long running musical tours from time to time. The theatre has about four tiers accessible by lift and the stall area is very comfortable.
